The government found out. They finally figured it out. They hid this information from the world and started to study it, us. The powers within these people was studied and tested. The government wants this power harvested for no other reason then to gain higher political standing in the world. In other words, they want a weapon and the best one that they can get.
With the secret exposed, they were bound to find the ones with powers. They are all thought to be captured or dead. The only ones remaining are the ones they made or so the government thinks.
The testing started on the individuals with the powers. That did not last long because there was no way to harvest or recreate the powers within another person. The one's lucky enough would be killed, but not before taking the necessary things to make a child.
After years, they finally have the subjects. They keep them all in one building. The nearly ready teens and kids know there are others living in the building, but have never really seen one another. They have lived most of their lives in their rooms, reading, learning, growing, and recently planning. The only time they ever saw each other was when they were so young they were allowed to play on a playground together.
Now they are left with a yearning to escape, not because of mistreatment.; they have decent lives. They never really wanted for anything. But the government has manipulated and trained them to, one day, be used as weapons. They are starting to realize this (that they are being manipulated) and MOST don't like it. They want out, but once they're out what will they find? But the bigger question is if they can stay out?

Name: Mikael "Mike" Swift
Power (Only one): Can transform into a weasel.
Age: 17
Appearance:Has unkept dark brown hair and brown eyes. Is short but kinda lanky for his height. Often wears baggy clothes in a brown or faded red/coral-ish colour.
Personality: Is a bit of a loner, only relies on himself and has problems trusting others. However, he can be pretty protective of people, especially young kids.
Other information: Is gaining suspicion that he is being manipulated, but isn't very sure of it.

Name: Logan Freeman
Power: Energy sensing and manipulation
Age: 17
Appearance:
Personality: She is a very focused person but has big creative ideas. She is smart and athletic because the mentors (people training these kids) expect no less. She does not trust people, specifically the ones keeping her in the building. She is very independent in her thoughts and was the one to discover the possible use the mentors have for them. She believes in zen and yen and yang. She has ideas of what is out in the world and wants to live outside of her four walls.

Name: Ashley Baker
Power (Only one): Heightened physical abilities (i.e. strength, speed and agility)
Age: 15

Personality: Ashley has multiple sides to her personality, she can be caring and cruel, shy and crazy, deep and passive, a loner, but loyal. It all depends on who you are and the situation.
Other information: When she gets into a fight she loses all her hesitation and goes all out, she shows no mercy but is a fair fighter. If you lose against her, then you lose hard. She's known about the government's use of them for a while now but hasn't had much reason to act, she knows that if the time comes when they try to use her, she'd do something then to keep from being used. At least that's her plan.

Appearance: white hair and brown eyes, often wear light dresses with long tights
Personality: quiet, friendly and very smart. She is secretive and doesnt trust people that easily especially the people who kept her and the others inside the building since they were young.
Other information: She is aware what is happening around her but keeps it to herself.
