"So it seems the demons dead. I am off to get my share of the cash." Touya said kicking the dead demon before running off in the direction of the terrified town.

Blaze shook his head, wiping his blades on his torn tunic, "He only cares for the money." He sighed momentarily, slipping his two daggers into their cases which were tied firmly around his waste. He turned to the girl which had also defeated the monster; he nodded at her and began to walk away.

Jack nodded back and turned, slipping her dagger into it's scabbard. She turned and ran after him. "What made you decide to be a Demon Hunter?" she asked, genuinely curious.

"My teacher." Blaze said, slowing down, surprisingly, he felt as if he was in a social mood (a rare happening) "My teacher practically forced me to join this... err... group. What about you?

"My families. I want to avenge their deaths." She looked away. She rarely spoke but she needed to talk.

Gandal stopped walking and looked at her in the eyes, "May I ask what happened to them?"

"They died obviously. Slaughtered by the demons in their sleep."

Blaze sighed... "I never knew my parent -- Well... my teacher was like my father." Gandal sighed again, shaking his head several times, But that doesn't matter now... I guess..." He turned and continued walking.

"You were lucky. At least you didn't have to go through all that pain twice."

Gandal made no reply; he didn't want to delve into another awkward conversation.

"How long have you been a demon hunter for?" She was a little too curious for her own good.

a girl looked on, her long blonde hair fluttering in the breeze. So this was the group that she supposed to join? They seemed a lot more advanced than her, but hey, her teacher did say that it would be a good idea to join a group with more advanced people so she could see how they interact and why they're so good.

Blaze looked at the girl again, God, why is she so curious? "I have worked in this group for about a week. For the past month I had been working in another group... But we were struck by a demon from surprise and I was the only survivor." He ended the sentence quietly.

"Well that sucks," Jack said. She looked over to Blaze. "You shouldn't let yourself get attached to people," she said sternly. "It only courses more pain."

Blaze nodded, "I learnt that lesson - don't worry." He reached a small tent located next to a bundle of houses.

"I take it this is where we part," she said quietly. She stopped ad took a step back. "Until our next meeting," she said as se saluted. Se jumped up ad landed on the roof of a small house. Se ran and jumped from the roof of each home and didn't stop until se reached the square.

Gandal raised his eyebrow, moving backwards until he fell into the shadows of his tent, flopping back into a sleeping bag. "Well..." He mumbled, looking over at the grazes and scratches over his body. He took out a cloth, wetting it with water from a bucket. He cleaned dirt from his legs and arms, moaning as the water stang; biting at his injuries. Once he was done; he lay back closing his eyes resentfully.

Jack climbed into her hotel room. She walked over to the basin and unwrapped her bandage. She hissed as the bandage came off her sticky bloody, arm. "Ouch," she mumbled. She cleaned her wounds and rebandaged them. She walked into her room and flopped on the bed. She shut her eyes and went to sleep.
