How to peeve off an Aussie - tell them:

1. ... their country is just like America.
2. ... they are all a bunch of crooks, or are descended from convicts.
3. ... the Indian cricket team is the best and the Aussie team are a bunch of cheats.
4. ... that you are great at geography and go on to list all the Australian provinces (Australia has States not Provinces - that would be Canada).
5. ... that ANZAC biscuits and Pavlova desserts were all invented by New Zealanders. (That's actually true, but it will still drive us nuts).
6. ... their contribution to the Gallipoli campaign was neglible compared to the brilliance of the Brits. (don't do this on ANZAC day unless you have a death wish).
7. ... how awful Australia is to kill all those endangered Kangaroos. (all 20 million of them).
8. ... they are a racist country and they ought to treat their indigenous people better.
9. ... Italy was the better team during the World Cup soccer in Germany,
10. ... the Uruguay soccer team plays professionally and their supporters are the best around and their team was cheated by the Aussies during the last World Cup qualifying rounds.
11 ... Australian Rules Football is just aerial ping pong.
12. ... Rugby League (aka thugby) is a little known sport played by amateurs.
13. ... is a hole.
14. ... Australia is a great place to bury a body (so big and empty nobody will ever find it).
15. ... their accent sounds just like the New Zealanders.

Note: As an Australian I would never dare say these in polite company. But they are quite commonly given by Americans and people from other countries that are geographically and culturally challenged.
