Chrysanthema blushed slightly and looked at him worriedly. "W-Why? W-Where are we going?"

" trust me....i know there is no reason for you to, but just do."
he leads her along with him lightly hoping he wouldn't be regretting this decision.

Chrysanthema looks at him for a long moment as she's dragged along but doesn't fight. For some reason she did trust him.

a few people come towards there way, he quickly pulls her into a bush
"...shhh...."
he peeked his head out waiting for them to pass.

Chrysanthema looked at him, surprised. Why was he protecting her? Where was he taking her? Why was he being so kind?

he made sure he spoke softly and quietly enough for her to hear him.

"...ok we need to make it to the other side of town....my sister should be there by now."
he thought about her and started getting worried.
where did she go?
what if she did something stupid again and got captured?
he couldn't help but let his brotherly nature take over.
he looked down at the girl, as hard as it was he had to forget about his sister but....

" alright lets go"
he pulled her out and dragged her along faster this time
it would have to wait he had to focus on getting this girl out of here first.

Chrysanthema stumbled after him in a hurry and looked up at him, he seemed worried. "I-I'm sorry... Y-You don't have to do this..."

he says lowly while holding her hand, he started to blush a bit.

"....AHEM.....iii i mean im not doing this because i like you or anything so don't get any ideas...."
he pushes back all the thoughts flowing into his head, and just focuses on getting her to hideout.

Chrysanthema looked at him confused. "I would never think that..." She said looking down, no one would ever love a girl like her. She followed after him and gave a small smile. "Well, whatever your reasons, thank you."

he was shocked by her response and he felt shitty for saying it.
at the same time if he said things like, your cute or i think your a nice girl.
wouldn't she just brush him off? he had tried hitting on local girls after a man has to have some fun. most of the time they would just slap him or walk away. his sister always mocked him but she would shut up the moment he mentioned how she never speak to guys ever....

he lead her to a tree house hidden in the forrest
"climb up here."

Chrysanthema nodded and started to climb, she was a skilled climber from her years of hiding.

when he was sure no was around he climbed up and locked the door.
letting out little pants he turned to the girl.
" ok your.....fre......free to speak now."

Chrysanthema's eyes widened and she looked down, unsure how to explain.

Chrysanthema nodded slowly and she continued to look down as she spoke quietly. "Well... you see... It's not that I don't have any powers I just... don't bend the elements..."

he took a seat in a beanie chair he had stored up there.
" what do you mean?"

Chrysanthema takes a deep breath and looks at him. "I have a power no one seems to have."

"whoa....what is it? did your parents like breed?"

Chrysanthema blushed slightly and looked down. "I-I don't know... But they gave me up for money when I was 5 and they discovered my powers... I guess you could say I'm a bit of a time bender..."

he let out, he didn't know what to say .
it was heart breaking hearing someone as sweet as her say that.
" can i see?"

Chrysanthema nodded and thought for a moment then looked at him. "Would you mind giving yourself a little cut, it's the easiest way to show you."

Leith had a fear of blood but his curiosity took over his fear.
he grabbed a small knife and slit his palm
" ich...." he let out in pain looking away.

Chrysanthema quickly moved to take his palm in her hand and she waved a hand over it. The wound almost zipped back up like it was reversing the motion of being cut.

it felt extreamly weird having the blood slip back in and the skin re-attach
"....whoa...."
he grabs her hands in excitement
" THAT IS AWSOME! can you control time periods? oh oh can you freeze time?"

Chrysanthema jumped as he takes her hands in excitement but she found herself smiling at him. "Well... Sorta. I haven't tested my full limits but it's like I can affect where an object is in time. I can either return it to a state it was in in the past like your palm, make it go to a state it would be in the future, like making something rot, or freeze it's place in time, like stopping a fire from burning further."
